Fairy Of Lost Things

You lost it, I'll find it!

To Sew...

Posted on January 10, 2011 at 2:53 PM

So, I've finally finished all the parts for "Thurman". I'm naminghim after my Great-Grandfather whose sweater I've unraveled for the yarn. Ijust need to sew and stuff him.

I'm going to be making at least two more. Possibly three, it justdepends on how much yarn is left. I think I'm going to use the same pattern so thatthey are the same bear and just change the color of the vest for the differentones. The next one will be for my mom and then one for my Great aunt. Now thatI've finished one all the way through the pattern I think it will be easier toget through.

On other fronts I really need to get my sewing machine serviced nextweek. I have some sewing projects that I really want to get accomplished! I'venot sewn in almost three weeks and I'm jonesing a bit.

Tomorrow I venture down to Reclaimed Originals to meet with Claudiaand drop off some product. Tonight I have to tag everything and write my artistbio. Thusly I'm writing my blog early so that I can accomplish something today!

Happy Crafting!

I admire your patience! I love the idea of knitting stuffed animals, but once I get to this stage, I have a hard time maintaining my enthusiasm. So much sewing together to be done! And I never successfully get the limbs attached the way I want them on the first (or second, or third...) try.
